PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS

Leadership/Character Development

Students will participate in chapels throughout the basketball season conducted by a coach or guess speaker. Biblical messages on character and leadership will be the main topics during chapels. John Wooden Pyramid of success is part of the curriculum for chapels. We will go through building block that leads to character growth, which will empower youth in their character and leadership development. This will be implemented during coaching engagements and weekly outreaches.

Spiritual Mentorship

Students will commit to a six-month spiritual growth mentorship agreement. Students will participate in a graduation ceremony if they successfully complete the six-month program. Students will have a mentor that will take them systematically into a journey with Jesus Christ. The program will be broken up into four phases. The four phases focus on God's Word, Fellowship, Outreach and Prayer

Basketball

Development

We meet weekly as an outreach at a  designated locations, where youth get basketball development training. A message from the Bible, and  5 on 5 scrimmage games. This is a place where youth can come and get free training and experience playing the game of basketball. We welcome all Middle and High school boys no matter their skill level.

Basketball Camps 

We conduct Basketball Camps throughout the year. This is free for all Middle and High school boys. Its a one day five hour camp, where youth get to compete in competitions, participate in skill development sessions, and be challenged with a Biblical message. We provide a free t-shirt to all participants, drinks and food at the end of camp.

Basketball Leagues 

Anointed Hoops basketball leagues is an organized program that helps youth build character during live games. Teaches teamwork, how to learn on the fly and gives at risk youth a second chance to be a part of a team atmosphere. Guest speakers empower youth to seek Jesus Christ, value education and become leaders in their communities. Spring League is in April and Fall league is in October.  

Basic Needs Program 

We provide clothing, food, and hygiene for those in need by collaborating with local organizations, churches, and taking donations. Our goal is to help youth have clothing for school, food, and Hygiene all year.
